Events suspended until mid January

Events suspended until mid January

Updated 16 December 2020

Following the announcement that London would move into Tier 3 on Wednesday 16 Dec, all upcoming in person events have been suspended through to mid-January. We will continue to monitor and follow guidance, and hope to be able to run events again sometime in the New Year.

Under the new rules events are able to run in Tier 2, but not in Tier 3. Dates are currently listed for Online events.

Last week the Government announced new tiers to help control the spread of COVID-19, and confirmed which areas of the country would be in what tiers.

Throughout the pandemic PopUp Painting has closely followed the latest advice, and adapted events to be as COVID-Secure as possible.

Tier 3 (Very High Alert) It is not possible for our events to run.

Tier 2 (High Alert) It is our understanding that our events are able to run under Tier 2 in line with regulations covering performing arts and events [1]. Under these rules we are required to run at 50% capacity, and events that we do run in Tier 2 must finish before 10PM.

Where our events run in bars or restaurants, the sale of alcohol is only permitted alongside a substantial meal. While taking part in the event only soft drinks and tea and coffee will be available for purchase.

We would encourage everybody who is able to to support our fantastic partner venues during this difficult time by dining with them before or after one of our events.

As with restrictions under the previous tiering system, bookings can only be accepted from guests within the same household or support bubble. It will not be possible for groups to mingle at our events, and facemarks unless consuming refreshments.

Tier 1 We are confident that our events could continue to run in a COVID-Secure manner in Tier 1.

As with previous lockdowns, all guests with affected bookings have the option to move their tickets to our Ticket Bank or to have a full refund. If you have not yet heard from us or have questions please write to us at info@popuppainting.com.

We thank you for your ongoing support and patience.
