Bored of quizzes? We’ve got you! We’ve compiled a list of the best online games to play during Lockdown.
- Skribbl
Skribbl is a fun multiplayer drawing game. Each player is given a three choices of things to draw, then using their best Paint skills they have to get the other members to guess. Points are awarded to the first people to guess and how quickly the drawer gets correct guesses.

2. Psych!
Who can bluff the best or make the most people laugh? Psych! has a range of different games from tricking other players into believing their definition of a word is the best, or there’s a round where you answer questions on each other, which depending on the group playing it, can get pretty personal (in the best possible way). The app is free to download on your phone. Get on Zoom and start playing.
3. HouseParty
HouseParty is one of the first apps to storm the Lockdown trends. You can use it either just to chat to friends in ‘rooms’ or you can play a range of games with them. The app has HeadsUp, Quick Draw, a tame version of Cards Against Humanity as well as a trivia game. The app is free to download.
4. Words with Friends
More of a tame game, and one you can play slowly over a few days if you prefer. Words with Friends is the app version of scrabble, but people have started to play this whilst on webcam with the opponent, to make it more realistic to the board game.

5. Playing Cards
Play any card game in your own virtual room with up to 6 players with Playing Cards. Just sign up and send your friends a link!

6. Cards Against Humaity
You can now play everyone’s favourite party game for horrible people online! Just follow this link and the instructions to play.
