7th March – SoLo Craft Fair: Balham Spring Market – SoLo Craft Fair are returning to the beautiful Balham Bowls Club with 30 traders, a macrame plant hanger workshop, kids play corner and more. Free entry, Balham Bowls Club, SW12 8QX. 15th March – St. Patrick’s Day – London’s biggest party is returning, enjoy the parade, performances, Irish food and drink. Grab a Guinness and come celebrate the Irish. Free, Parade along Piccadilly, Festival in Trafalgar Square. 17th March – Paint Street Art and Prosecco – Try your hand at painting in this relaxed and fun environment where you can bring your own booze. Expect dance, craft, art and more throughout the festival. Birmingham

7th March – Festival of Colour – Explore the magic of colour through weaves, patterns and spin art. Take part in making a huge community piece of art at this family event. Tickets £10, The Courtyard Gallery, B91 3RG 19th March – 22nd March – The Creative Craft Show – This event will provide experts in knitting, paper craft, jewellery making and more demonstrating tips and techniques to inspire any budding crafter. Tickets £14, Birmingham NEC, B40 1NT 28th March – Birmingham Vegan Festival – A vegan festival with stalls, talks, demos and much more raising money for Farplace Animal Rescue Charity. 7th & 8th March – Tattoo Tea Party – Now in is 9th year, this Tattoo convention with a difference is back. Expect the best in skin art and some truly unique entertainment. Tickets from £16, Eventcity, M41 7TB 21st March – Cosmic Circus Rave – One of the most out there raves around – imagine alien performers, confetti canons and a great line up of DJs. Tickets from £16, Manchester Academy High School, M13 9PR 27th March – Paint Street Art and BYOB – Unleash your creativity at this event where you can paint and drink while painting your own version of Banksy’s Flying Balloon Girl. Leeds

29th February – Ongoing – Andrew Sales Art Exhibition – Cole’s Gallery will be putting on a brilliant exhibition of the paintings of Andrew Cole. Andrew’s paintings draw inspiration from historical images mixed in with personal experience creating a whimsical result. Free, Cole’s Gallery, LS2 7HY

8th March – Bradford Unleashed– Bradford’s very own comic-con present a mixture of the best in movies, television, games and anime. There will be meet and greets, photo booths and more. Tickets £6, Bradford City FC, BD8 7DY

21st March – Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club – Craig Charles will be spinning the best of funk and soul at this club night. Tickets £19, The Wardrobe, LS9 8AH
