Olga Wisinger-Florian was an Austrian Painter of Landscapes and Flower Still Life.

Olga Wisinger-Florian was born and lived her whole life in Vienna. Wisinger-Florian started painting at aged 19, but was not happy with her progress so turned her focus to piano. It was only at age 30, after having to retire from piano due to an injury that she returned to art.

When Olga Wisinger-Florian reached the age of 35, she was invited to take part of the Viennese Art Association, and was one of only nine women asked to take part. From then, Olga’s art career continued to flourish. Wisinger-Florain’s earlier style was considered as Austrian Mood Impressionism but she later developed a very expressive style which was very ahead of her time.
