4th – 13th October – London Cocktail Week – The world’s biggest cocktail festival returns to London. London Cocktail Week takes place over 250 participating bars across the city. Tickets £10, Various bars across London.

31st October – Screening of the Shining – Watch one of the most iconic scary movies of all time in the beautiful 1950’s Rivoli Ballroom – the perfect location to watch this chilling movie. Tickets from £12, Rivoli Ballroom, SE4 2BY

4th – 6th October – Birmingham Weekender – This festival in Digbeth will celebrate art of culture of Birmginham with a variety of shows and performances in bars, theatre and cafes. Free, Various Locations.

4th – 13th October – Women in Comedy Festival – Celebrating the best in female comedy, this festival takes place in various locations across Manchester. Various locations and Prices.

19th October – Manchester Folk Festival – Kate Rusby will be performing as part of the Manchester Folk Festival lineup supported by Midnight Skyracer. Spend this Autumn weekend listening to the beautiful music of these talented performers. Tickets £28, Home, M15 4FN


5th October – Paint Starry Night – Try your hand at something new by having an evening of paint and wine! An artist will lead you through Van Gogh’s iconic Starry Night. Tickets £27.99, Leeds Postal Service,  LS1 4JY

20th October – Colour Me in Fesitval – A festival to celebrate ‘Spirit Day’ an annual LGBTQ+ awareness day. There is a great line up of LGBTQ+ musicians performing throughout the event. Tickets from £10, Belgrave Music Hall and Canteen, LS2 8JP
