We’re hiring! (Leeds and London)

We’re excited to be hiring for events managers in Leeds and West London. We’re also looking for someone to help us build our presence and run PopUp Painting events in North London.

Passionate about unleashing creativity? Love entertaining? Us too!

PopUp Painting is the UK’s leading ‘sip and paint’ business, having painted with some 25,000 people across the UK since 2013. We’re now running 60+ events a month (right across London, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and Leeds!) as part of our mission to bring art out of the classroom and gallery, into the places people meet on an every day basis.

And we’re looking for events managers like yourselves to help run our events in Leeds, West London – and to help us build our presence and run events in North London!

As a PopUp Painting Event Manager you will be responsible for the operational delivery of our events. You will be responsible for transporting kit to/from events (usually from your home), customer care and safety, managing the artist, and ensuring the overall quality of the events.

Our events are high energy and primarily focused on entertainment. The successful applicant should:

  • Be comfortable performing in front of a large group of adults,
  • Be a confident and clear communicator, able provide strong customer care and manage the team on the night
  • Have a good team ethic, work well under pressure, and be approachable to guests
  • Be able to store kit
  • Have a car for transporting kit
  • Experience as a painter is preferable, but not essential

Our events primarily run on weekday evenings and weekend afternoons and evenings, and last 3-4 hours including set up and clean down. Depending on availability, Event Managers can expect to work 3-10 events a month.

To apply, please send a CV along with a covering letter to recruitment@popuppainting.com. Please also specify your availability and access to a car. Applications will close on 14 May.
