We are looking for an Artist and Event Manager in Birmingham (combined role).
Events last 2.5 hours plus set up and clean down time, totalling c.4 hours. Most events take place in the evening and weekends. You will need to be flexible and able to travel.
This is a combined role where you will either take the role of artist or event manager at an event. As an artist you will be responsible for guiding guests step by step through painting a picture and help with set up and clearing away. You will also need to do some preparation of pictures ready for the event. As an event manager you will be responsible for running the event, customer care and a small amount of administration. You will be responsible for transporting kit and must have access to a vehicle.
Hours – hours are subject to negotiation and will be between 8 hours per month and 26 hours per month.
Who should apply?
You must be qualified and have experience in customer care or leading events and working with the public. You must have access to a car and have a driving licence.
This role require high energy, flexible working and a sense of humour. The ability to work under pressure is also needed.
