PopUp Painting will be launching in Leeds in August 2018. Its first partner venue in the city is Brasserie Blanc. The company invites guests to “unleash their creativity, wine glass in one hand, paintbrush in the other”.
Now in its fifth year, PopUp Painting runs ‘painting and wine’ events in bars, restaurants and workplaces across London, Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham. Its guests are led by artists, who guide guests step by step through iconic pieces, while they “drink, paint, [and] create”.
The company will be holding its first event in Leeds at Brasserie Blanc on 23 August.
Commenting on the upcoming launch, Makreting Director and CoFounder Gareth Shelton said: “We are really excited about our expansion into Leeds. People are tired of the same-old on their nights out. That’s where we come in. It’s especially pleasing to be launching in Leeds with Brasserie Blanc, who were one of our first partners in London as well.
“Most of our guests haven’t picked up a paintbrush since school — if ever — and it’s been really rewarding to see people leave an event saying ‘wow. I didn’t know I could do that’. We’re really looking forward to seeing how the people of Leeds enjoy our events”.
