PopUp Painting’s ‘artist of the week’ is PopUp Painting team member and artist Sue Guthrie.
Sue Guthrie is an artist based in Birmingham. Guthrie works across a range of media but specialises her practice on creating Fine Arts pieces for commercial interiors. The artist has created original artworks for a range of clients including BMW, J D Wetherspoon, Holiday Inn, Norwich Union and the NHS.
Guthrie has created her bright, bold and colourful works in paint, print, mural and digital form. The artist has exhibited widely, from Edinbugh Castle to Whitely’s, London, has shown with Ikon Touring, Walsall Museum and Art gallery and has achieved awards from West Midlands Arts.
