PopUp Painting events are led by qualified and practising artists, who are experienced in teaching, events and leisure. One of our artists, Rebecca Hunter was the first to join the team back in 2013 and has recently launched ‘SoLo Craft Fair’ which is about to hit the scene at Balham Bowls Club.
‘In 1969, we had the Summer of Love, today in 2016, SoLo Craft Fair are introducing the Summer of Handmade.’
Rebecca and her fellow artisan stall holder, Catherine Dunner, pride themselves in running a craft market with a difference! SoLo Craft Fair is a south London based organisation. Catherine Dunne of London Lily and Rebecca Hunter of Drawn Together Art Collective provide a strong platform for small businesses; taking time to promote their individual stall holders, musicians and workshop leaders, giving them a good platform to grow their business. The events are filled with live music, creative workshops and children’s entertainment in addition to the craft stalls. SoLo Craft Fair really concentrate on the customer experience of the day!
To make it even more exciting for those of you who will be making a visit SoLo Craft Fair will be running their summer event’s at the iconic Balham Bowls Club. Showcasing some of the best handmade & vintage stall-holders, creative workshops and live music around.
London in the summer is one of a kind the longer evenings, ambitious cocktail menu’s, and the warm smoky smell of BBQ’s, nothing quite beats the sunshine here! So if you’re wondering how to plan your summer, other than a PopUp Painting event of course 😉 Then join Rebecca and Catherine for a summer of handmade fun on the 28th of May. If you can’t make that, then why not make the 9th of July! Times are from 12 – 5pm at the Balham Bowls Club, 7-9 Ramsden Rd, London SW12 8QX’
