2016 began with two fantastic sell-out events! On Thursday 8th we were at The Red Lemon, Notting Hill to paint Starry Night Over London (see here) and on Friday 9th we were at Urban Meadow (Bayswater) to paint Picasso’s ‘Jeune Fille Endormie’ (see here). Thanks to our guests for joining us and getting us off to a great start to the year!

FullSizeRenderWe’ve got over 20 events currently planned for January, with new themes, new venues and new partners on board. Alongside our most popular themes (such as Van Gogh’s Starry Night, Banksy’s Girl With The Balloon and Chloe Bruce’s London Skyline), we’ve also got David Hockney’s ‘A Winters Tunnel‘ and Klimt’s ‘The Kiss‘. Two completely new additions are Quin Sweetman’s ‘Venice Through The Gondolas’ which we’ll be painting at The Dog & Fox in Wimbledon on 26th, and Annie Dalton‘s impression of Banksy’s ‘Balloon Girl’, which will be featuring in Old Street (20th Jan) and St. Albans (26th Jan). Take a look and book your place in advance!

We’re also very excited to join up with The Gallery, located in Austin Friars, as one of our partner venues. The Gallery describes itself as a “showcase of style and service”, creating seasonal dishes from scratch in their open kitchen. We’ll be launching at The Gallery on 27th Jan with Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night – make sure to join us!

January will also see the launch of our collaboration with Debra Collis (PopUp Painting team member and mosaic artist) in the realm of mosaic workshops. Mosaic is a lovely, colourful, and playful medium and Debra will guide you through your own mosaic in one of these workshops. They will be taking place in the PopUp Painting studio on the 17th and 31st January. Booking in advance!

Yelp! is also joining our roster of promotional partners, and we’ll be launching a special private event for Yelp! users on 21st January.

Here’s to 2016!
