Last night we ran our first event at Urban Meadow on Bayswater Road. The event was themed around David Hockney‘s The Arrival of Spring, and was facilitated by Hollie Slaughter, who guided our guests through the painting to create their own fantastic impressions!
The original artwork by David Hockney stretches across 32 canvasses!
PopUp Painting events are social painting experiences; making art accessible to everyone, taking art out of the classroom and gallery and into the places where ordinary people meet. Our events aren’t art classes, but focus on painting for fun, for anyone looking for creative things to do in London, or some great date ideas!
Our guests aren’t artists or even necessarily art enthusiasts. But as you can see from the photos of the event, that doesn’t matter. This is painting for fun, and anyone can do it!
Our next event at Urban Meadow will be a Paint London themed event on 28th May! You can book your tickets here.
PopUp Painting events are social painting experiences, giving everybody the opportunity to unleash their creativity. One of the most creative things to do in London, our events are aimed at people who aren’t artists who want to have fun trying something different. Perfect for friends, for colleagues, or great date ideas. This isn’t an art class: this is social painting!
